Face Data and Persona Images:
- Required Face Photos: During onboarding, we collect four specific photos from you:
- Face center view (frontal photo with neutral expression)
- Face left side (profile turned slightly right)
- Face right side (profile turned slightly left)
- Full body photo (head to toe view for body proportions)
- No Biometric Analysis: We do not use facial recognition, face detection algorithms, or extract biometric identifiers from your photos
- Manual Capture: Photos are captured manually by you using guided visual overlays—no automated face scanning occurs
- Body Measurements: Height and style category you provide for accurate virtual try-on visualization
Wardrobe Content (Premium Subscribers Only):
- Images and photos of clothing items you upload
- Outfit combinations you create
- AI-generated outfit images showing you wearing your wardrobe items
- Text descriptions, tags, and notes you add to wardrobe items
- Style preferences and favorited items
- Wardrobe organization and categorization data
- Timestamps and metadata associated with wardrobe content
Technical Information:
- Device information (model, operating system, unique identifiers)
- App usage analytics and interaction data
- Crash reports and diagnostic information
- IP address and general geographic location
- Network connection information
- Feature usage patterns and AI generation requests
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain our subscription-based wardrobe management services
- Create Your Virtual Try-On Avatar: Your face photos and body measurements are processed to generate a digital persona that accurately represents you in virtual outfit images
- Generate Personalized Outfit Visualizations: Combine your avatar with your wardrobe items to create realistic images of you wearing different outfits
- Process and organize your wardrobe items and outfit combinations (Premium only)
- Generate AI-powered outfit images based on your wardrobe
- Create personalized styling recommendations and suggestions
- Process images you upload for organization and enhancement
- Enable cloud synchronization of your wardrobe across devices
- Manage your subscription, credits, and billing (through Apple App Store)
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Improve our app and develop new AI-powered features
- Send important service-related communications
- Analyze usage patterns to optimize performance
- Ensure security and prevent fraud
Specific Uses of Face Data:
Your face photos and persona images are used exclusively for:
- Avatar Creation: Generating a virtual representation of you for try-on visualizations
- Outfit Generation: Creating realistic images showing how clothing items would look on you
- Service Delivery: Enabling the core virtual try-on functionality of the app
What We Do NOT Do with Face Data:
- We do NOT use your face photos for facial recognition or biometric identification
- We do NOT extract biometric identifiers or facial templates
- We do NOT use your face data for marketing, advertising, or third-party purposes
- We do NOT share your face photos with anyone except our secure AI processing providers
- We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your face data
- We do NOT use your images to train AI models without explicit anonymization
3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (GDPR)
We process your personal data based on:
- Consent: When you explicitly agree to data processing for specific purposes (AI generation, image processing)
- Contract: To provide the subscription services you've purchased
- Legitimate Interest: To improve our services, ensure security, and provide customer support

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

AI and Processing Services (Including Face Data Processing):
- Virtual Try-On AI Providers: Your face photos are shared with specialized AI service providers to generate your virtual avatar and create outfit visualizations. These providers:

- Are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us
- Must delete your data upon our request or contract termination
- Are bound by strict data protection agreements and security requirements

Face Data Third-Party Sharing:
Yes, we share face data with third parties, but only as described below:
- AI Processing Partners: Your face photos are transmitted to third-party AI service providers for avatar generation and virtual try-on processing
- Cloud Storage Infrastructure: Photos are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure on servers maintained by reputable cloud service providers
- No Other Sharing: We do not share your face data with advertisers, marketers, data brokers, or any other third parties
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose face data if required by law, court order, or legal process

Payment Processing:
- Apple App Store for subscription billing and payment processing

5. DATA PROCESSING AND AI
Subscription Required: Core wardrobe management features and AI processing are only available to paid subscribers.
Your premium content may be processed using AI services to:
- Generate outfit images from your wardrobe items
- Automatically categorize and tag clothing items
- Identify clothing types, colors, and styles
- Create personalized styling recommendations
- Suggest outfit combinations based on your wardrobe
- Enhance and organize uploaded images
- Analyze style preferences and patterns
AI Processing Safeguards:
- Data is encrypted during transmission and processing
- AI providers cannot access your data for their own purposes
- Processing occurs in secure, monitored environments
- No human review of your content except for technical support when requested
- Aggregated, anonymized data may be used to improve AI models
6. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Security Measures:
- End-to-end encryption for data transmission
- AES-256 encryption for data at rest
- Secure cloud infrastructure with SOC 2 compliance
- Multi-factor authentication for administrative access
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- Automated backup systems with encryption
- Access logging and monitoring for all data access
Data Storage Locations:
- Primary data centers in secure, compliant facilities
- Backup systems in geographically distributed locations
- All locations meet or exceed applicable data protection standards
- Face Photo Storage: Your persona images are stored in isolated, secure cloud storage with user-specific access controls
- Storage Region: Data is primarily stored in Europe with encrypted transmission and at-rest encryption
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain your data as follows:
- Account information: Until account deletion or 7 years after account closure
- Face photos and persona images: Stored until you:
- Update your persona with new photos (old photos are replaced)
- Request account deletion (face data deleted within 30 days)
- Cancel subscription and request data deletion
- Active storage: Face photos remain in secure cloud storage for as long as your account is active to enable virtual try-on functionality
- AI processing: Face data sent to AI providers is used only during processing and not retained by AI providers after generation completes
- Wardrobe content: Until you delete it or request account deletion
- Outfit combinations: Stored until manually deleted by you
- AI-generated images: Stored until you delete them or cancel subscription
- Uploaded photos: Stored as long as associated wardrobe items exist
- Technical data: Up to 2 years for analytics, immediately for crash reports after resolution
- Support communications: Up to 3 years for service improvement
- Credit history: Retained for billing purposes for up to 7 years
Face Data Deletion:
You have full control over your face data:
- Update your persona photos anytime through the app settings (old photos are automatically deleted and replaced)
- Request account deletion to permanently remove all face photos within 30 days
- Contact us at privacy@augmntd.com to request specific face data deletion
- Upon deletion, face photos are removed from our storage and AI processing partners within 30 days
- Cached copies on your device are cleared when you sign out or delete the app
You can request deletion of specific content or your entire account at any time.
8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
